What You Believe = The Business You Build
You might think that what’s holding you back is a lack of time, money, or the right marketing strategy. But more often than not, it’s a hidden belief that’s shaping your choices and limiting your potential.
Here are some of the most common ones I see:
🔥 "I have to work 24/7 to succeed."
→ Reality check: Burnout isn’t a badge of honor. It’s a business model failure.
🔥 "Charging higher prices is greedy."
→ Reality check: If you undervalue yourself, your clients will too. People don’t just pay for the service—you’re selling results, transformation, and expertise.
🔥 "I need to learn more before I can take action."
→ Reality check: This is just fancy procrastination. Experience is the best teacher, not another online course.
🔥 "I can’t be successful because I’m not [insert excuse: extroverted, tech-savvy, good at sales, etc.]"
→ Reality check: Success doesn’t belong to a personality type. It belongs to those who show up, adapt, and keep going.
The Mindset Audit: Spotting Your Own Limiting Beliefs
The tricky thing about mindset traps? You don’t always see them. They sit in the background, silently dictating your decisions.
So here’s what I want you to do.
Next time you catch yourself thinking something like:
🚨 “I can’t do this because…”
🚨 “I have to struggle to succeed.”
🚨 “This won’t work for me because…”
STOP.
Ask yourself:
✔ Where did I learn this belief? (A bad experience? A family story about money and success? An old boss who made you feel small?)
✔ Is this belief helping me or hurting me?
✔ What would change if I believed the opposite?
Because here’s the truth: Your beliefs are not facts.
They are stories.
And if the story you’re telling yourself is keeping you stuck, it’s time to rewrite it.
Journaling Prompts to Rewire Your Business Mindset
I want you to sit down and write out these prompts. Don’t just think about them—actually write them out. That’s where the magic happens.
1️⃣ What’s a belief I’ve had about business or success that has held me back?
2️⃣ Where did I learn this belief? (From parents? School? Past failures?)
3️⃣ What evidence do I have that this belief isn’t 100% true?
4️⃣ What’s a new belief that would serve me better?
5️⃣ What action can I take this week to start living from this new belief?
Because here’s the thing: your business will only grow as much as you do.
If you don’t shift your mindset, all the strategy in the world won’t help.
But if you change the way you think, you change the way you act.
And when you change the way you act? You change your results.
So let’s do the work.
