What Does it Mean to Have a Magically Thriving Business
Let’s talk about what it really takes to create a Magically Thriving Business.
When I say "magic," I don’t mean waving a wand and watching your problems vanish. I define magic as the ability to shape reality—specifically, the reality that is your business. Magic is real. You can alter your reality. But here’s the catch…
There is no magic formula.
No one spell, incantation, or potion will build your business. There is no single "right" way to succeed—because success looks different for everyone. We all have unique goals, different strengths, and different challenges.
So how do we inject a little magic into our businesses?
The Magically Thriving Business Triquetra
We’re all navigating the same three forces every day:
Mindset (What you believe)
Emotions (What you feel)
Actions (What you do)
And together, they shape your reality.
Most business owners focus only on acquiring skills, thinking "I just need to learn more, take one more course, read one more book, and then I’ll succeed."
That’s rarely the answer.
A thriving business doesn’t just require knowledge. It requires:
✔ A mindset that aligns with your goals.
✔ Emotional awareness that keeps you from self-sabotage.
✔ The right skills and actions to move forward.
Most people don’t intentionally balance these three forces, and as a result, they zip around in chaos—constantly reacting to outside circumstances instead of creating the business they want.
Mastering the Magically Thriving Business Triquetra with intention allows you to break free from that cycle and consciously shape your business.

How to Use the Triquetra Framework to Make a Magically Thriving Business
We make a million decisions every day—big and small. Some shape our business in profound ways, others create ripple effects we don’t even notice. But all of them are influenced by our mindset, emotions, and actions.
I’d like to walk you through an example to see how this works in the real world.
Case Study: Tara’s Business Dream
Tara just lost her job. She needs to make money, and she loves painting. Everyone compliments her work and asks her to paint them pictures. So she decides:
"I’m going to start an art business!"
What happens next?
💥 Tara pours her last paycheck into materials and booth fees.
💥 She works nonstop making products for an Etsy shop and the farmer’s market.
💥 Weeks later, she’s completely broke. The business hasn’t taken off.
💥 Faced with eviction, she gives up and gets a job waiting tables.
Sound familiar?
It’s a common story—an emotional decision made without considering all the factors.
Now let’s rewind and have Tara use the Triquetra Framework before taking action.
Tara Applies the Triquetra Framework
Step 1: Mindset – What Does She Believe?
Tara asks herself:
Why do I want to start a business?
→ "I need money and want freedom over my schedule."What do I believe about self-employment vs. jobs?
→ "The only way to have freedom is to work for myself."
→ "Successful entrepreneurs are more respected."
→ "Making a lot of money = happiness."
Already, she notices some limiting beliefs that might not be true.
Step 2: Emotions – What is She Feeling?
What emotions are driving my decision?
→ Fear: "I have no income, and I’m panicking."
→ Insecurity: "Losing my job made me feel worthless."
She realizes that part of her motivation isn’t just money—it’s self-worth.
Step 3: Actions – What Skills & Resources Do I Have?
What do I need to run an art business?
✔ Painting skills ✅
❌ Business skills
❌ Marketing skills
❌ Pricing strategy
This leads Tara to ask deeper questions:
Will this business actually pay my bills?
How many paintings would I need to sell? (She does the math: Each small 5x7 painting takes 5 hours. To match her old income of $15/hour, she’d have to sell each for $75 (not counting materials)—but the local store sells mass manufactured art for $10. Will people pay more for original art? )
She continues her math and realizes she would need to sell 8 paintings a week. If the average person buys 2 pieces of art per year, she’d need 208 customers per year and she’d have to paint (and sell) 416 paintings per year!
Would I really have more freedom? (The Farmer’s Market runs every weekend at 6 AM—so she’d work MORE weekends than her old job. And if she spent 40 hours per week painting, she’d spend additional hours running her booth, listing paintings online, marketing, and bookkeeping.)
Tara’s Realization: This Business Idea Might Not Be the Right Move
Instead of rushing into action fueled by emotion, Tara now has a clearer perspective.
She asks herself:
✔ Could I find a different job where I’m treated with respect and paint as a hobby?
✔ Would another business idea be more sustainable?
✔ Do I even want to paint full-time, or will that kill my love for it?
Because she paused to analyze mindset, emotions, and actions, she avoids a major financial disaster and opens herself up to better opportunities.
The Power of Intentional Decision-Making
Most people skip this kind of reflection. They chase ideas, buy courses, and react to problems without examining the root causes.
This isn’t just about the huge decisions, like starting a business. Every business challenge—**low sales, hiring mistakes, marketing struggles—**can usually be traced back to:
❌ A mindset block
❌ An emotional reaction
❌ A skill gap
And when you’re aware of this…
You can fix the real issue instead of just the symptoms and that is when the Magic happens.
Final Thoughts: The Magic is in the Method
Mastering the Magically Thriving Business Triquetra isn’t a one-time thing. It’s an ongoing process. Every day, you make decisions—big and small—that shape your business.
You don’t need a "magic formula." You don’t need endless courses before you take action. You do need to start making intentional decisions that align your thoughts, emotions, and actions toward the business you actually want.
So here’s my challenge to you:
Next time you’re about to make a business decision—big or small—pause.
Ask yourself:
✔ What beliefs are influencing this decision?
✔ What emotions are involved?
✔ What actions (or missing skills) will determine the outcome?
This is how you shape your reality.
This is how you create a Magically Thriving Business.
