Quick Sell Mastery Grand Finale!
“Calls to Action” was a Call to Action… Who knew?
Last week's lesson about Calls to Action was really timely. In the Hexa-Hive Business Support group this week, we were talking about using videos on our website to help visitors understand our services. Just a quick 1 minute video, can be a really powerful way to quickly help someone clearly understand what you do.
Here's the framework we created for this quick 1 minute video if you want to steal it:
Your client's pain point, challenge or struggle
Your solution, what you did to solve the problem. Your process. For example, 1st I met with the customer to better understand their needs, then I created ___ so that __, then we ___ so that ____, etc.
The end result - talk about both the actual finished product and also how that made your client feel. What was their benefit or ideal outcome?
Call to Action: What is the next step you want your visitor/viewer/follower/prospect to take? Be very specific! If you use the words "everyone or anyone" you've done it wrong.
Here's a fill in the blank template for your Call to Action: "If you're a [niche target market] who [list 1-3 pain points] and would like to [list the primary benefit/good outcome from working with you], [action they should take ie. schedule a call, download my free guide, go to my store] to [what will they do, what is the purpose of this action ie. Schedule a call to..discuss how to work with me on your next project]. [how they take this action ie. Go to [website address], click the link below, etc.]."
The Call to Action is a critical piece of that video. If it's vague, the prospect actually won't do anything.
For example:
Vague CTA: "If you or anyone you know would benefit from my widget, buy now."
Would you 'buy now'? Would you know how to 'buy now,' even if you wanted to?
Specific, Powerful CTA: "If you are a Real Estate Agent or Title Insurance Agent who wants to win repeat and referral business from your clients, get your shop full of branded, memorable house warming gifts from Hexadaisy today. Go to www.Hexadaisy.com to pick your package and be ready to 'Wow' for your next closing! Buzz-Worthy Branding starts here!"
With that Call to Action, you don't even need to watch the whole 1 min video to know 3 things:
Are you the target market?
Will this product benefit you?
How do you buy?
